The S3:4 Process

Song 3:4 places a personal touch in the creation of your invitations. Whether you are looking at an existing design from our library or considering a custom approach, we want to take time to learn about you and your story as a couple so we can create a design that fits your wedding theme and your personality.

We strive to make your wedding invitation process an easy and enjoyable experience.

1. Custom or Library

Choosing custom design?

Schedule your consultation for a custom design. We can meet you in person or chat on the phone. It is good to have a time to get to know you and get the details of what you would like to see on your invites. It is best to set up initial contact with us at least 3 months before your wedding day. Earlier is better, especially when you plan to send out Save-the-Dates.

Choosing a design from our Library Collection?

Jump on over to our Library Collection designs and choose which design you would like. Most of our designs have the option to change colors and add a personal photo.

2. Place your order

Select which stationery pieces you would like and your quantities. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your place on the schedule. Deposit will be deducted off your final balance, but is not refundable in the case of a cancellation.

3. Prepare your content

The best way for you to provide your wording is emailed in a Microsoft Word document. It is best not to format your wording with spacing, alignment, typeface, or color in the document. Photo’s should be at least 6 inches wide and at a high resolution for printing. If you want an engagement photo in your invitations, you can email us a digital file from your photographer or take your own photo. For professionally taken photos, we must have a reproduction release from your photographer.

4. Initial design proof

An on-screen view will be prepared and emailed for you to review. At this time we can make any needed changes to the files. It usually takes 5-7 business days to get you a PDF proof for Library Collection designs, and 7-10 business days for custom designs.

5. Edits, Revisions, and Approval

When reviewing your design proof, take special care to make sure all text is correct without any errors. It is best to print the files and read them over multiple times, checking names, dates and locations. We offer up to four revisions of design elements and text. Additional revisions are $50 each.

6. The Final Step

Once we have received either your final written signature on a printed copy of your proof or you email us your approval to print your invites, we will prepare the files to send to our printer. The final balance is due before we send the files to print. It usually takes 8-11 business days to receive the final product from our printer.
